After a promising demo, NIENTARA have joined TRIBUNAL RECORDS. Their latest efforts show a distinct maturity in songwriting ability. NIENTARA have managed to crank out some serious metal. Along with the aforementioned metal, they deliver some crushing breakdowns, and yet are unafraid to show a more subtle melodic and emotional side. Clean, well sung, vocals are interspersed amongst the chaos to add just the right touch of contrast. Watch for their TRIBUNAL RECORDS debut MCD entitled, The Summer's End due out in October 2001.

The Northeast is known for breeding some of the most savage metallic hardcore bands in the scene today, NIENTARA, who hail from Connecticut, are no exception. Their musical style is simply another fine example of the ever-growing genre that completely blurs the line between metal and hardcore. NIENTARA are reminiscent of a Cradle of Filth styled black metal approach complete with haunting background vocals combined with the most vicious of breakdowns. The presence of a breakdown is the only element that keeps NIENTARA from becoming a full-fledged member of the metal community. After the immediate success of their demo, NIENTARA have returned with their debut MCD entitled The Summer’s End. Keeping with TRIBUNAL RECORDS tradition it contains five tracks of pure metal fury!
