about

Original release information from 2002:

SAMADHI are a young and determined band hailing from the Baltimore, Maryland area. They formed in the spring of 2001, out of the ashes of popular local bands, All Hopes Die and Apathy. Their debut TRIBUNAL RECORDS release, The Finest Of Sorrow was recorded at the legendary TRAX EAST studio with famed engineer, Eric Rachel. Due to scheduling conflicts it took a lengthy 6 months to complete the process, but it is now ready for mass consumption. SAMADHI have constructed some great technical and melodic hardcore on The Finest Of Sorrow. From quick and up-tempo metallic gallops to strumming emotive outbursts, SAMADHI cover a variety of styles. Standout tracks include “April’s Love Note,” “Sincerely Yours” and “Empty Image Broken Glass.” SAMADHI have been compared to FOR THE LOVE OF, GOD FORBID and TURMOIL.

Contains bonus track taken from TRIBUNAL RECORDS 50 collection.
