about

Original release information from 2005:

Germany’s SIX REASONS TO KILL isn’t claiming to have reinvented the wheel, or even push the boundaries of metalcore as we know it, instead what they have ultimately provided in their latest release, “Reborn,” is an absolutely lethal and utterly f*cking destructive metal album. Their first full release since 2000’s “Kiss The Demon” on Alveran Records, their Tribunal Records debut, “Reborn,” is just that; the rebirth and re-awakening of a former German metal powerhouse.

Nothing too fancy or overly experimental, but it is as heavy and technically proficient a record as they come, and with stellar production handled by Kristian Kohlmannslehner at Kohlekeller Studios (Crematory, Since The Day & Agathodaimon), SIX REASONS TO KILL are here to prove why they are soon to be once again leading the pack of Europe’s most elite hardcore and metal bands alongside current heavyweights such as Caliban, Deadsoil & Heaven Shall Burn.

With numerous tours under their belts and having shared the stage with such top acts as Hatebreed, Testament, Agnostic Front, Shadows Fall, God Forbid, Madball and Napalm Death, SIX REASONS TO KILL constructed this album for ALL fans of extreme and heavy music. Listeners can expect to be pulverized by each successive riff on “Reborn.” From the opening moments of “Symbols Of Ignorance“ to the album’s climax and final track, “Addicted To Love (Life's Dead End Path)“ SIX REASONS TO KILL’s pace is relentless. Bang your head, fire up the circle pit or kick box to your heart’s delight, either way be sure “Reborn” is the soundtrack.

For current fans of: Hatebreed, Lamb Of God & Machine Head
Old school metal heads take note if you enjoy Bolt Thrower, Kreator, Six Feet Under and Obituary
