Hailing from Canada, FaceDown have unleashed an audio assault on the senses. Forgetting The Constant Fear, their debut EP, contains seven tracks of pure metallic hardcore. All the necessities are there; sick, tortured vocals (provided by vocalist, Ozzy. Yes, that's his name.), dueling melodic guitar interplay, and a heavy driving rhythm section. FaceDown more than simply provide a soundtrack to the current dance floor, they are the future of metalcore as we know it. Tracks such as "Cries of Sovereignty," "Cursed In Sickness" and "Chosen Few," combined with a devastating live show, demonstrate exactly why FaceDown are quickly becoming one of the most talked about bands in the hardcore community.
