Since releasing Forgetting The Constant Fear (TRB003) on TRIBUNAL RECORDS a year ago, FACEDOWN have proceeded to become one the premier Canadian metalcore bands. Their brand of metallic mosh hardcore doesn’t scream of originality, but it does serve a very important purpose. That purpose is to entertain the kids. The kids have responded, and they simply love what FACEDOWN have created, and cannot seem to get enough. They crave every single breakdown that they can crank out. The endless stage diving and pile-ons at all the FACEDOWN live shows are testament enough.

With the release of Blinded By Delusions, FACEDOWN plan on unleashing even more floor-punching breakdowns for the kids to lap up. These songs contain so many breakdowns that it is hard to imagine how kids will be able to survive a current FACEDOWN live show. Along with the numerous breakdowns, FACEDOWN deliver some great metal infused melodies throughout the seven songs presented on Blinded By Delusions. Harmonized guitars and breakdown riffs borrowed right from the Slayer handbook are a formula that cannot go wrong.
